Chinese smartphone and wearables manufacturer Cubot has announced the upcoming global launch of the rugged Cubot KingKong ACE 3 smartphone, scheduled for July 22. The new product has an ultra-strong design, making it suitable for use in the most adverse environmental conditions.
Cubot KingKong ACE 3 is designed to work in the harshest conditions and has protection against moisture and dust, as well as resistance to shocks and falls according to IP68/IP69K standards, which ensures its reliability and durability. The smartphone will become a reliable companion for lovers of travel and extreme sports, as well as builders, metallurgists and other professions whose work is associated with being in adverse environmental conditions.
The smartphone is based on the eight-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor with a clock frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and an Arm Mali-G52 graphics accelerator, which, in combination with up to 8 GB of RAM with the ability to virtually expand up to 32 GB, provides high performance when running resource-intensive applications and heavy games, as well as support for multitasking. The flash drive capacity is up to 256 GB. The storage capacity can be expanded thanks to support for microSD cards with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
Cubot KingKong ACE 3 is equipped with a 6.58-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution (2408 × 1080 pixels). The screen refresh rate is 90 Hz. On the back panel, there is an additional round touchscreen that can display various information, such as battery level or time, as well as incoming notifications. The additional screen can also be used to take selfies using the main camera.
The main 108-megapixel camera, supplemented by a 5-megapixel sensor for macro photography, provides high-quality photo and video shooting. There is also a front 32-megapixel camera for selfies.
The 5100 mAh battery will keep you connected all day long. The smartphone runs on Android 14. The device’s specifications also include a fingerprint scanner and an NFC module for paying for purchases via a terminal without the need for a bank card.
