Despite the fact that AMD stopped shipping Navi 23 (RDNA 2) GPUs to its partners almost a year ago, the latter apparently have accumulated such a stock of these GPUs that they continue to release new versions of the Radeon RX 6600 based on them. Asus, for example, presented an updated version of the Radeon RX 6600 Dual V3.

The new RX 6600 Dual V3 model differs from its predecessor, the Radeon RX 6600 Dual V2, primarily in its design and cooling system casing.
The previous model has an asymmetrical cooling system and a different rear reinforcement plate, which has a cutout where the GPU is located.

The new Radeon RX 6600 Dual V3 has a more symmetrical shape, and the notch at the back has disappeared. The two fans included in the cooling system have a full stop function at low GPU temperatures.
The technical characteristics of the Radeon RX 6600 Dual V3 model have not changed compared to the Dual V2 version. The card uses the Navi 23 chip with 1792 stream processors and has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on board. Like its predecessor? The Dual V3 version claims a small factory overclocking of the GPU in game mode to a frequency of 2064 MHz (the standard is 2044 MHz). At the same time, the frequency in Boost mode remains the same and is 2491 MHz.
The card is 2.5 expansion slots thick. Its dimensions are 243 × 134 × 49 mm. It receives additional power via one 8-pin connector.
The manufacturer did not disclose the price of the Radeon RX 6600 Dual V3.
