According to Guillemot, Ubisoft’s current goal is to release Assassin’s Creed titles more regularly, but not to release “the same” game every year.

Guillemot confirmed that Ubisoft is developing remakes of several entries in the series: “They will allow us to go back to games we’ve made in the past and bring them up to date; some of the older Assassin’s Creed games still have incredibly deep worlds.”

According to Kotaku and insider Tom Henderson, one such project at Ubisoft is a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. In total, Henderson spoke about two reimaginings of the games in the series that are in production.

Ubisoft is also developing the multiplayer Invictus, and rumors link the company to Nebula set in India, the Aztec Empire, and the Mediterranean, the cooperative PvE action game Raid, and the online Echoes based on the Ubisoft Scalar.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be released on November 15 on PC (Ubisoft Connect, EGS), Mac (App Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and will appear on iPad before the end of 2024. Like Codename: Hexe in the future, the game will be part of the Animus Hub platform.
